This film is a remake from a Japanese Movie, Hachiko Monogatari, havent seen it, but soon will.

But the story itself is a true story. It happened in 1924 to 1935, in Tokyo Japan, the station is Shibuya Station, and where Hachiko used to wait the professor has become a famous meeting place in Tokyo.

A bronze statue of Hachiko can be found here, while Hachiko's stuffed and mounted remains are kept in National Science Museum of Japan at Ueno.

Last Words
You must see this movie, it will make a grown man cry. The flow of this movie is slow, and it really sets the mood of how daily life is, while still gets the viewers' emotion. Also music of the movie is just perfect. A dog person will certainly loves this movie, a sad yet beautiful movie of a dog's loyalty.

I dare you to watch this movie and not shed a single tear ^^
